The ultimate solution to a no-chimney problem in the house, this glass fronted fire has no chimney or flue requirement so you can now have the traditional gas fire with all its visual advantages too.
The eko 5090 Flueless Gas Fire has a fully variable heat output from 1.5 kW low to an impressive 2.6 kW high & is designed for a minimum room size of 30m3 (typically 11’ 6″ x 11’6″ with an 8’ high ceiling).
Simple ‘hang-on-the-wall’ installation, the eko 5090 Flueless gas fire incorporates the latest in technology and does not need a chimney or flue to operate.
Instead, the combustion gases pass through a catalytic converter system, positioned at the top of the appliance, which converts carbon monoxide into harmless carbon dioxide and water vapour, levels of which are so low they are typically present in fresh air.
In fact, the catalytic converter works so effectively that it can actually help to clean the air by neutralising airborne particles and odours, therefore helping to reduce household allergies.
